Young and Gifted Conference

The conference is a platform that celebrates the extraordinary efforts of teens and young adults who are making significant strides in education, entrepreneurship, the arts, and social advocacy.

These young leaders are not only achieving excellence but are also shaping the future by creating impact in their communities and beyond.

Our conferences are fully funded by PROJECT50. As we grow, we are actively seeking to build community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to strengthen our impact and continue empowering the next generation of change-makers.

February 22nd, 2025

Conference #1

On Feb. 22nd, 2024 we launched our "Young & Gifted Youth Conference. Our youth conference was created to celebrate Black Excellence and to inspire our youth. Several people from the community, other organizations and youth joined us as we showcased powerful stories from young Black leaders. This event showcased pathways to success while connecting our community with valuable resources and support networks.

December 6th, 2025

Conference #2

We want the Young and Gifted to share inspiration amongst each other. On December 6th, 2025 The Young & Gifted Youth Leadership Conference was where opportunities, real connections, and sucess met in Ventura County. Young leaders, founders, and creators from Netflix, Open AI, UC Berkeley, came together for a day of growth and shared success. You didn't need to have it all figured out, You just needed to show up.

July 18th, 2026

Conference #3

On July 18th, 2026 we held our third Young and Gifted Conference honoring some of the most gifted students in the 805. We partnered with two dynamic youth centered organization (The Gathering for Justice and Future Leaders of America). Several people from the community joined us as we showcased powerful stories from young leaders. This event grows every year as we continue to find and highlight the young and gifted.
