3
Job Services
We help the black community navigate the job market in Ventura County and we help with resume building and review.
4
Court Appearance Support
We attend court with clients from the black community, listen to their case and try to help them with resources once outside the courtroom.
5
Young Adult Counseling
We provide counseling and guidance to students and parents. We try to provide a supportive platform for young black youth. We also are willing to fight the battles of students and families experencing racism in schools.

Our Work
In Feb 2024 we were contacted by a concerned parent from Cam Heights elementary school in Camarillo, because of racial and hateful speech being used by white students during Black History Month.
On March 7th, 2024 PROJECT50 and THE LBGTQ+ community brought this to the attention of the public and the district at a board meeting.
Although we were a key contributor on accountability for four months, the Pleasant Valley School District superintendent attempted to omit our involvement in her presentation to the board.
Our voice...Our work...Our support for black students will not be silenced by anyone! Click the envelope to open and read a presentation on our involvement.

Pacific Coast Business Times
In recognition of Black History Month, the Business Times is presenting our annual Black Leadership Roundtable, a Q&A discussion with a panel of regional leaders. Our focus for 2025 is on the Eaton Fire which devastated the historically Black community of Altadena, and its broader implications. Our discussion was conducted via email with Editor Henry Dubroff and the answers have been lightly edited. Here are our panelists:
